Providers
A Provider is a company that provides one or more services that CrackleFree needs to send messages. For example, CrackleFree normally sends SMS messages by using either an 'Email to SMS' service or an 'HTTP to SMS' service, both of which rely on companies providing such a service on the internet.
Information about each Provider is stored in a separate Provider file in CrackleFree, and includes information about the services provided, their cost, and how CrackleFree should interface to them. A number of Provider files are supplied with CrackleFree, and they just need to be updated with your account details (usually, just your username and password).

To Send Text-to-Voice Messages

You can also in many countries just send an SMS message to a landline number. If the network knows that there is a 'text phone' on that number, your message will be delivered as text. Otherwise the telephone company will call the number and the message will be read out (see for example BT Text in the UK).

To Send to Skype
To use CrackleFree to send Chat messages to a Skype user, you just need to have Skype for Windows installed on the same PC as CrackleFree.
